Where the data comes from
Ingredient information comes from CosIng, the European Commission’s cosmetic ingredient database: what a substance is, the names it is sold under, and the function it is listed against. It is a register, not an opinion, which is why we can cite it for every line.
What it does not carry is a judgement about whether a product suits you. Nothing here offers one. An ingredient we do not hold is named and left unexplained rather than guessed at — see the methodology.
